I was born right here in Fernie BC and grew up exploring the mountains, lakes and forests with my family. I have been creating art as long as I can remember, It was a childhood passion that just stuck and I am so grateful it did!

I was inspired you to become a photographer in 8th grade and after graduating high school and studying photojournalism at S.A.I.T as well as receiving a diploma in Professional Photography from Western Academy I went on to work as a Photographer in the Action Sports Industry. Fast forward 10 years, I met my dream man, got married and had two beautiful children. This BIG change shifted my perspective and interests. Now what lights my soul on fire is capturing those fleeting moments of kids who grow to quickly and those magical stolen kisses and tender hugs.

When I'm not taking photos you can find me sailing, skateboarding, snowboarding, rock climbing riding bikes with my family. We are an active crew who value quality time and experience over everything.

From an initial questionnaire to truly get to know, what makes you tick and to confirm we are indeed a perfect fit to work together, to location and outfit suggestions, I will be there every step of the way to ensure our session flows smoothly on the day of your photoshoot.

I'll turn up after one too many chai teas, buzzing with energy to capture one of the most important, memorable days/moments in your life, big or small, I won’t miss a moment.

During Wedding I will be there documenting the getting ready prep through to ceremony, reception and afterparty. I will be there in the centre of it all or as a wallflower behind the scenes, photographing moments and details that you might’ve missed (e.g. Aunty Doris getting drunk on the d-floor). You will receive a variety of candid shots and posed styled shots in a beautiful online gallery afterwards.

Being married and having children of my own make me know just how important savouring special moments in time are! Lets face it, the age old cliche that "time flies" is very true. For this reason, I like to think of myself as a time machine. Taking photos so authentic and beautiful that you will be transported back in time and smell your newborns head or hear your husbands laughter when you look back on the images we have created together.

I pride myself in going above and beyond to make sure you feel comfortable in front of the lens and afterwards you will absolutely treasure and cherish your photos for many years to come!

I started my photography journey in high school and never looked back. I can't tell you why I love it so much, I just do. I enjoy it so much and I feel both excited and at peace when I am working. Capturing memories for my clients, friends and family is my purpose and I feel so fortunate to do so. Every shoot to me is completely different and truly special. Trusting me to capture your fondest moments in life is an honour that I sincerely cherish.

With years of studying photography I have mastered the technical side of things as well as the ability to observe light and different angles and use them to my advantage. I have a unique artistic style that brings out the best qualities in my clients and showcases your true beauty and brilliant personality's. I am not afraid to be weird or awkward to make you feel comfortable in front of my lens. I will lay in the mud to get a great shot. I will do whatever it takes to get an outstanding, magazine worthy photo because that is what brings me joy.

going on adventures and meeting new people will always bring me joy!

Outside of photography you can find me at the skate park or bike park with my kids or at home working on whatever project I have dreamt up (so far I have built a chicken coop, tree house and DIY hot tub). When we aren't at home we are probably on a family travelling adventure.

After spending time and living in countries such as Sweden and Nicaragua, as well as travelling to many places from India to Cambodia and many countries in between, It's safe to say I have a passion for travelling – My love for shooting destination weddings definitely stems from my desire to discover new cultures and find beauty and connection in every corner of this magnificent planet.

That’s a little sneak peek into my life and a few of my favourite things. No matter who and where we are, we’re all souls wandering this beautiful earth, with a different story to share.
